How to Increase Closet Organization in 5 Easy Steps: Step 2

Image

For day 2 of Operation Clean Closet, we are focusing on displaying camis, t-shirts, and undershirts in an organized and accessible way. These are everyday garments that are important to have in clear view for easy grab and go, especially for early mornings.

I like to store them all together and sort them by like colors so you can see them all in one place.

If you have extra hanging room in your closet, I recommend shoe organizers like these.  Roll up your camis/t-shirts as you would if you are packing a suitcase (rolling allows for more storage than folding) and start with your most used colors at top (like nude, black, and white), while working down the organizer with the remaining colors.

If you are like me and have limited hanging closet space, under bed storage containers (like these, note that the price is for a 10-pack) are an easy way to store them.  I also like to use these containers to store clothes that don’t get easily wrinkled like gym clothes, lounge clothes, pajamas, etc.  It creates space in your dresser and work as a great alternative if you are strapped on drawer storage.

Tomorrow I will be discussing jewelry storage, so be sure to check back!

How do you currently store your camis and tees for easy dressing?
